The countdown starts the moment your token is issued, not the first time your AI worker fetches a chapter. I don't have a published policy yet on pausing a token if your worker stalls mid-build, so I won't invent one. That answer is still being recorded.
Here's what I can tell you plainly. The core kit is free: the 206-page PDF, or the AI crawl token that lets your worker pull every chapter, module spec, and file straight from our server. The token is the paid add-on. It runs for 30 days from issue.
If you're worried about burning it before the build finishes, the safe move costs nothing:
- Download the free PDF first and read the loop yourself.
- Point your AI worker at the free reference codebase so it builds inside the scaffold.
- Hold the token until your worker has a clear task list, not a vague brief.
- Fetch once, cache the files locally, and let your worker read from the cache.
- Save the token for the chapters you actually need to re-crawl.
The cost of waiting is simple. Your build slips a week, and the token still runs its 30 days. Start the token when your worker is ready to move.
